Where does Stockholm Syndrome get its name?
Stockholm syndrome is named after a 1973 bank robbery in Stockholm, Sweden, where hostages formed a paradoxical emotional bond with their captors, siding with them against police. Over a six-day standoff, hostages developed sympathy for the robbers, refused to testify against them, and defended their actions, prompting criminologist Nils Bejerot to coin the term.

Robot

Stockholm is often called a unicorn factory since it produces the highest number of billion-dollar tech startups per capita outside of Silicon Valley. The Capital of Sweden is comprised of 14 islands, 57 bridges, and is surrounded by water where Lake Mälaren hits the Baltic Sea. This intimate relationship with nature is deeply woven into the city's identity, culture, people - and of course its innovation scene. AI and robotics here are focused on sustainability, preservation, ethics, and efficiency, where companies can build solutions for local Nollåtta that not only improve their daily life in Stockholm, but spearhead its position as the leader in Scandinavian artificial intelligence.
